Pickled Okra

ingredients

  • 5 small hot peppers
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp mustard seed
  • 2 lb small fresh okra
  • 8 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp celery seed
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 quart white vinegar

instructions

  1. Wash & pack in 5 pint jars.
  2. Place 1 clove of garlic and 1 hot pepper in each jar.
  3. Mix the rest and bring to a boil
  4. Pour in jars & seal
  5. Let stand for 3 weeks
